Overview of the locality:
Joldan, located near the border with Burma (Myanmar), has recently been plagued by tensions in Manipur, which have disrupted the daily lives of its inhabitants. The village is isolated from traditional supply chains, resulting in a shortage of essential goods and medical facilities for over a year. The dependence on Burma for daily trade has been interrupted due to recent tensions in the region, worsening the community's situation.
CTF relief interventions:
In response to the serious situation, the Camillian Task Force (CTF), in collaboration with the Diocese of Imphal, organized a relief camp in Joldan. The camp aimed to provide assistance to the affected population, addressing immediate needs for sustenance and medical care. The intervention of the CTF proved crucial, as 520 people benefited from the relief efforts.

Field operations:
The relief camp continued until late at night, highlighting the urgency and dedication of the CTF staff. Medical professionals and team members worked tirelessly to ensure that every individual received the necessary attention and support. Despite the challenges posed by the remote location and limited resources, the camp operated efficiently, providing a ray of hope amid adversity.
Thanks:
The success of the relief camp owes much to the concerted efforts of the CTF doctors, the CM Fathers, the MC Sisters, the DM Sisters, and the team members, who selflessly dedicated themselves to serving the community. Their tireless commitment and perseverance in the face of adversity reflect the values and mission of the organization. In addition, gratitude goes to all stakeholders and supporters who contributed to the relief efforts, demonstrating solidarity and compassion in times of crisis.
