ON THE OCCASION OF WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2025, CADIS KENYA ISSUES A CALL TO ACTION
World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5th, with the aim of raising awareness and promoting sustainable practices. This year, the host country for World Environment Day was Korea and the theme was “Putting an End to Plastic Pollution” with the hashtag “#BeatPlasticPollution”.
In Kenya, the World Environment Day celebrations were held at Tharaka University. However, the celebration also took place in various counties and sub-counties, administrative constituencies, and different sectors.
