The promptness of the intervention also depends on internal organization. Thanks to local partners, we can act with resources and personnel to reach even the most remote areas. As happened during the flood in the Nawabshah district, in Pakistan, where our volunteers managed to reach inaccessible areas.
When a natural disaster occurs, the population immediately needs basic necessities. Thanks to our resources, we are able to promptly provide everything needed during the initial intervention phase. We have done this in Pakistan, Ukraine, Turkey, and Syria.
Once the emergency phase is over, we listen to the needs and necessities of people to implement resilience projects and look to the future with confidence, as with women and refugee children fleeing the war in Ukraine, or in Kenya to make the population resilient to persistent drought with resources and professional skills.
