ON THE OCCASION OF WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2025, CADIS KENYA LAUNCHES A CALL TO ACTION
World Environment Day is observed annually on June 5th, with an aim of creating awareness and promoting sustainable practices. This year, the host country for the World Environment Day was Korea and the theme was “Putting an End to Plastic Pollution” with a hashtag “#BeatPlasticPollution”.
In Kenya, the World Environment Day celebrations were held in Tharaka University. However, the celebration was also held in different Counties and Sub-Counties, Administrative Wards and in different sectors.
