The Camillian Disaster Service International foundation (CADIS) is holding its 4th Annual Leadership Conference at the Camillian Pastoral Care Center in Bangkok (Luangphaeng Rd., Khumthong, Lattkrabang) from November 5 to 11, 2017. The theme of this year’s conference is “Reaffirming our Vision and Strengthening our Strategies in Rebuilding Resilient Communities”. The following themes will be thought during this conference: 1] project cycle management, 2] project proposal writing, and 3] the mid-point assessment of its strategic plan.

Building up the Camillian Disaster Service International in the provinces/delegations of the Camillians in the different countries is of foremost priority for us. Thirty delegates from nine countries of Asia, Oceania, Africa and Europe are expected to participate in this conference.

This conference is co-sponsored by the Catholic Bishop Conference of Italy (CEI), SOS DRS doing business as Camillian Disaster Service USA, and the Camillian Province of Thailand.

The COVID 19 pandemic has put on hold for two years the annual capacity-building activities of CADIS known as the "Bangkok Conference." CADIS is happy to announce that we will resume the all-leaders conference in Bangkok this year. The conference aims to build the capacities of CADIS leaders in responding to disasters.

I invite you to the 7th Annual Leadership Conference of CADIS, which will be held from November 7 to 12, 2022, at the Camillian Pastoral Center (81/3 Luangphang Road, Khumtong, Lat Krabang, Bangkok, Thailand). The theme of this year's conference is "Reaffirming our Vision and Enhancing our Strategies in Rebuilding Resilient Communities." The following topics will be dealt with during this conference: 1] CADIS Six-year Strategic Plan 2022, 2] Laudato Si Action Platform (LASAP), and 3] Business meeting – Election of Representatives (2) to the Board. The strategic plan will set the path to achieve our vision of the fullness of life in a resilient community, integrating Laudato Si's path towards authentic ecological conversion.

You have been part of building up CADIS. Since we started the Bangkok Conference, gains and improvements have been noticed in the organization's response to disasters. Your participation is an essential asset for CADIS to continually grow and advance in its mission in your respective Province and Delegation.

Establishing CADIS as an organization in your respective Province or Delegation is of foremost priority for us. Thus, we highly appreciate your attendance at this conference.
