Dearest friends, partners, and confreres,
Life holds many surprises in store for us, sometimes fantastic, sometimes unpleasant. The arrival of Covid-19, invisible and ubiquitous, has disrupted our lives in a short time, strongly affecting our hopes and our programs, and has highlighted the immense power of what, despite being small, can confuse the great and strong.
Especially, Christmas is the feast of the little ones, of the poor, of the forgotten: they are represented by Jesus who was born poor, to make us rich with his presence. His birth changed the world, and his gospel illuminated human suffering and hope.
We hope and pray that the admirable event of Christmas, like the unforgettable time of the pandemic, will dispose us to undergo the "test" of humility, to put on the mask of hope, to feed ourselves with the vaccine of faith to face the surprises and the mystery of the future sustained by Emmanuel "the God with us." (p. A. Pangrazzi).
We are sending you our best wishes for a holy Christmas and a blessed New Year 2021. We are also expressing our sincerest gratitude for your contribution to CADIS growth so that it may continue to be an instrument of God's mercy in favor of people affected by disasters.
