To celebrate the Season of Creation 2022, September 1-October 4, and join in the reflection to "listen to the voice of creation," CADIS has gathered testimonies from those who act every day to safeguard our common home.
Last July 2022 we inaugurated the Season of Creation with a widely attended online event. During the kick off event, we have listened to the voices of Creation advocates from all over the world who are helping to raise awareness and take action on behalf of our Earth.
They are the voices of those fleeing war, the hands of those caring for the sick, the eyes of those looking to the future with hope.
In several episodes, we have shown the faces and hearts of the people involved in CADIS projects, Camillian delegations, and the facilities of Camillian religious.
In the first episode we hear the voice of Marika, who fled the war in Ukraine with her children and lives in Ĺomianki, Poland, thanks to CADIS' project with the Tzu Chi Foundation and the Polish Camillian Province.
In the second episode to celebrate the Season of Creation 2022, we touched the work of prayer and action of the Camillian religious in the Philippines who, together with medical health workers, assist hundreds of people every day, with their hearts in their hands.
The third episode takes us to Baringo, Kenya, a region surrounded by the Rift Valley but plagued by extreme natural phenomena: drought and flooding where CADIS is implementing a post-Covid resilience project.
With the fourth episode to celebrate the Season of Creation we dive into the reality of CADIS in Burkina Faso, to accompany the journey of faith and hope and reach out to those in need.
The fifth episode marks the road to the conclusion of the Season of Creation 2022. A journey that we have walked together week after week, but which will not end here. We continue this journey with the discovery of the indigenous peoples of Thailand.
