On December 1, 2015, the CADIS International Foundation, already operating as CTF (Camillian Task Force), was legally registered in Italy as a non-profit humanitarian and development organization of the Order of the Ministers of the Sick (Camillians). Next December 2025 marks the tenth anniversary of CADIS International.
CADIS has intervention programs in countries at risk of disasters such as India, Pakistan, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Kenya, Haiti, Burkina Faso, Benin, Uganda, Tanzania, Peru, Chile, Brazil, as well as in Italy and Poland.
It collaborates with the local Church, when present, and with other humanitarian organizations around the world. In most of these countries, CADIS has strategic local offices and works with local partner structures to ensure a timely, coordinated, and organized response to emergencies.
The vision has always been to pursue the fullness of life in resilient communities. Today, CADIS provides humanitarian, psychosocial, pastoral, and development assistance to populations affected by natural disasters and other calamities, as well as long-term projects to build and strengthen the resilience of affected communities. It is composed of lay people, religious, and organizations that share its mission and respect the principles and teachings of Camillian spirituality of serving the sick and suffering even at the risk of their own lives.
To this end, CADIS International is launching a competition and wishes to invite the various entities that make up the great Camillian Family spread throughout the world, those who collaborate with it, and all supporters of our mission to create the Logo, the text of the Hymn, and the text of the official Prayer for this Anniversary.
